The Love of God

The Love of God

by Teboho Masakala

The Love of God doesn’t judge,, it doesn’t see colour, it doesn’t pretend, it doesn’t undermine, God’s love comforts, it doesn’t change and it compels us to love one another.

1 Peter 4:8, above all love each deeply because love cover over a multitude of sins, the love of God loves us even when we are still in sin, it doesn’t see the sin we are in. Our sins are forgiven because of the love of God, the love of God forgives sins.

So whatever your sin may be that you have done, Jesus has died for you and has erased your sin. Because of his love, God forgave you.
The bible says God is love showing that love is God’s nature and his love comes naturally and is not made or created but it is who God is. The love of God has no end nor beginning. Love is what God, it is his characteristic, his personality.

His love was there in the beginning, it was there in the past and it will be there in future and it is an eternal love that has no end nor beginning. It is an Agape love.

The love of God does not judge: Paul was persecuting the children of God but God still loved, David killed a man and took his wife yet God still loved him. God does not judge according to human standards and is able to forgive even the serial killers of this world and because of his love, he can do the same for you, he is able to use anyone for his glory, his love is not only  limited to the righteous or those that are born again, but it is available even to the sinners, the weak, the judges, the haters and all people.

His love does not see what a person has does, it overcomes negative perception about people. It does not judge like people do but looks at the heart. God is able to use anyone he want, because of his love he is patient and can wait. If he want to use you for his purpose, he will wait for you, clean you and make you new again. His love is an unfailing love.

1 Corinthians  13: 4-5 Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong.

The love of God is very patient with us, God knows our weaknesses, he knows what makes us weak, what makes us angry and what makes us tick. He is able to be patient with us because he created us, his love is a patient love as he created us and knows everything about us. While People will remind you of your past, God’s love doesn’t see your past, it is able to overcome that and led you to your future and success.

1 John 4:19 “We love because he first loved us” because God loved us first we are able to love one another. This shows that the love of God is a contagious love enabling us to love others, we love others because of the love of God.

1 John 3:1  how great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God. Because of the love of God we are able to be called his children, we are children of God because of his love, this shows that the love of God make us his children. We are not children because we are righteous or we live holy, we are his children because of his love.

Just as an earthly father will do anything for his children, God is able to do more for us. A father doesn’t show kindness to his children by the virtue of having fathered them, but because of his love for his children does he provides for them. loves comes from within and is showed through various ways.

God’s love is showed through various ways also. You being alive and able to read this is proof enough that God loves you and made you wake up this morning.

Let God handle it !

Let God handle it !

By Teboho Masakala

Life can be totally unpredictable. The people who we love can be the one who  hurts us the most, but how do you move on when you are hurt by the love you love and have given your heart to?
As hard as it may seem, it is better to be still and let God be in control. You can pass through troubling times as a way of God testing your faith and loyalty to Him. Some situations are just a learning curve preparing you for even bigger challenges.

In order to face a giant, you must be able to have passed a challenge that will prepare you for the giant so that you can be better equipped and ready for the fight. But still, in the midst of all that, you need to be still and let God be in charge.

You need to love and trust God with all your heart as people can disappoint you dearly. The one who we love are the one in better position to disappoint or hurt us because they know all about us. They know our weak and  strong  points. They know what makes us tick and can use that to our advantage, some battles are just not meant for you and you need to let God handle them for you.

You need to let God communicate with you through your pain, tears and misery. Learn to see him in all that you are going through. Yes, through tears, pain and misery you need to see God in all of that and see his mighty love for you. It is important to learn to be calm and let God be in control.

No matter how powerful or clever you may be, you need to let God be God and do what only he as God can do! God is the Creator of life and only he as a Creator knows what’s ahead and can see well into the future what will happen to us. Not only can he see our destiny, but he has already prepared for it and has all weapons ready for the battle ahead, that’s why you need to be still and let God handle your pain.

Some battles are really not meant for us to fight. If we do try, we will fail and our weakness be more exposed but when God is in control, he will hide our weakness and give us an ammunition we never knew we had. So whatever pain you are going through, whether caused by your loved ones or not, learn to let God handle it. Learn to let God fight your battles.
He is a Mighty Warrior, great in battle, Jehova is his name.

JESUS LOVES YOU

JESUS LOVES YOU

By Teboho Masakala (C)

Life has storms, difficulties, hard times and all that comes with it. Sometimes it becomes so much that we end up thinking the is no way out. Life can be so astonishing that we end up thinking we are cursed or are the cause of our problems.

But in all that, one thing that will never go away is the love Jesus has for you. If the is one thing that you need to know is that Jesus  loves you and cares a lot about you. What you are going through should not makes you forget that Jesus loves you and died for you.

If you are a street kid, do not look at your current situation but know that Jesus also died for you, Jesus didn’t die only for the rich or those who knows him, but he died for everybody. The prostitutes, the poor, rich, the young or old he loves all of them.

Yes even the killers, he loves them and if they repent  or have repented, Jesus will welcome them with open arms because he died for them also. No matter what you going through, it is not the end of the world. Do not look down on yourself because God loves you the way you are and cares about you so much that he is always by your side, slowly and surely he is changing your tears to smiles, sorrow to happiness.

People may look at you and see a trouble maker, killer, prostitute, gambler or all these name tags they may associate you with but that doesn’t change the fact that Jesus died for you on the cross and his love for you will never end.

Have faith in Jesus, love him back, give your life and heart to him and he will change your life. He will disappoint those who looked down on you and thought you have no future. He will change your misery; he will bring tears of joy and everything you ask from him he shall surely do.

Come as you are to Jesus, learn to love him. Jesus loves you no matter what, if you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, do not fear because Jesus if with you and loves you.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and  only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (JOHN 3:16)
