Lepele uses Music and Philanthropy to reach out

Lepele uses Music and Philanthropy to reach out

Teboho Masakala

Jazz artist Motsamai Lepele from Bloemfontein is using proceeds from his Jazz album to help the less fortunate through his Motsamai Lepele foundation. His album “My, Your, Our Africa” was recently released and is already playing internationally.
Lepele said he didn't expect his album to be so well-received in other countries. It is getting airplay in Germany, China, USA, Russia Japan, Korea and Holland among others. He gets money from streaming of the songs as he has a license for it.

Growing up and having experiences life challenges, Lepele made a promise and an oath to help those who are facing what he went through and his dream is changing as many lives as possible.
He added that he started his foundation as a way of reaching out to the less fortunate as he loves being behind the scenes when helping people and as such he prefers to work with NGO’s and individuals.

A portion of the money he receives from the sale of the album goes to his foundation and he uses it to partner with non profit-organizations and individuals who approach him for help. Fusing music with reaching out to the less fortunate has worked like a charm, as he can introduce his jazz sound to people while also reaching out to them.

The album costs R100 a copy. The songs are for mature Jazz audiences but can be enjoyed by others.
You can enjoy Lepele's music while driving, relaxing and even doing gardening at home. Lepele can be contacted on 078 210 0881 or facebook Motsamai Lepele Chakela.

I choose

Meikie Sinah

If the situation is between life and death;
I will forever choose life.

It doesn’t matter how bad the situation turns out to be;
I will forever choose to hope for the best..

I choose to see hope; even if hope is no longer there....
They declared death; but Jesus declared sleep...

I stand for hope...when all other candles have burned out...my
candle of hope will burn forever.

All of a sudden

All of a sudden

Meikie Sinah

This is a message directed to you...

All of a sudden you can not go out anymore;
All of a sudden things have changed around you
All of a sudden the company you've been keeping all this years
is not there anymore.

Its only you inside your house, its only you and there's no way you can go out there and carry
on with your life as usual.

Can’t you see...the hour of change has arrived?

You want to go to the club but you can’t, you want to take have fun with your friends so much but you can’t.

You so much want to carry on with your lifestyle but you can’t.

This is a time specifically set aside for you and me to change. It might be that this is the kind of life you for a long time been longing for; but never knew where to start or how to do it.

Even friends are cut off. It is just you alone or with your family. Embrace what is happening right now.

It is your time of change. You might never see it again. It might be your last opportunity of change. I dont know but only God knows.

I beg you; don’t go back to your old ways. Dont force to look for whatever you are not allowed to do right now.

Something is happening in your life right now. Dont turn a blind
eye it’s your time of change.

Enjoy every moment you are given of change. Allow this moment to bring out the person you've learned to outgrow.

You have never seen yourself this sober. Yes   I am telling you it is your time of change. Dont go back, I am begging you to not go back. Believe in yourself, you can make it.

Kindly say this after me:

"Lord Jesus, thank you for touching my life. I believe you have done all this just to see me becoming whom I was born to be. It was your plan since the beginning of life to live this kinda life. I accept you as my Lord and saviour from now on till forever more. Thank you Lord for setting me free. In Jesus mighty name I pray,  Amen"

Be positive at all times.

Be positive at all times.

by Teboho Masakala

This world can make you feel inferior, it can turn you into a monster and can make you do what you don’t want to do or intend to do. No matter what happens remain positive at all times. The are times when you won’t know where help will come from, time when family will desert you and friends becomes few but be focused and be positive at all times.

You may be out hunting for a job pursuing your dreams but things may not  go the way you want or expect, still be positive and do not give up. Don’t give up on your goals and dreams in spite of your situation be positive at all times.

Nelson Mandela spent 27 years behind bars and his positivity has today inspired millions of people around the globe. Nick Vujicic a renown motivational speaker from Australia was born without arms and legs but did not let his situation to halt him from pursuing his dreams. He is married to Kanae and has four beautiful children and did not let being born with Tetra-amelia syndrome halt his dreams. His positivity continues to inspire many people around the world.

It all begins with you. You have to be positive even when circumstances do not allow you to. You have to be positive even when friends and family are few, even when you don’t have money you have to be positive. You have to be positive that something good will happen, you have to positive when you go to an interview that whatever happens, the outcomes whether good or bad of the interview when stop you for aiming high.

You only have one shot at life, one chance to live and one chance to pursue your dreams and that chance and time is now and you should not allow anyone deter you.

Caster Semenya’s positivity when she was grilled by world media over his gender and called intersex did not stop her from going for gold and continuing being a champion. She stood defiant and her bravery and positivity has led her to being a voice for women to be respected in athletics and inspired young village girls to keep on dreaming and that everything is possible and even the sky is not the limit.

Don’t be derailed in your goals, vision and dreams. Be positive at all times, be positive even when its seems hard to be. Be positive in everything you do, all  your hard work, goals and dreams will come true. Learn to be positive at all times.

Mrs Dee once said, no matter how tough life may be or how lonely you might feel always be positive that something positive will happen and all shall pass.

You are Unique. Love yourself

By Teboho Masakala

The will never be another you. The will never be someone created in your image, character or behaviour. God created you unique and made you to be different and you don’t need people to make you feel complete or loved.

You don’t need to unnecessarily stress yourself about what people say about you. Your body shape, shoe size or anything about you is unique and you don’t need people’s stamp of approval about yourself. You need to love yourself the way you are and be proud of yourself.

God created every individual unique for a reason. He created our body shapes differently for a reason and nothing said or done will change that. Some people feel so much offended by the curses that comes from the lips of the immature they take it seriously forgetting that people are not creators but only God is.

Never change anything about yourself. If people claim to love you they need to love you the way you are, you don’t need to jump over a mountain to make people happy. Don’t allow people make you miserable because of the way God created you, never allow people to belittle you.

Don’t lose sleep over words that mean nothing. Curses become active when you give them time and space but if you ignore them they vanish. They mean nothing so you don’t need to care about what people say about you.

Your environment or background doesn’t determine your destiny so are people’s words but its only you who determines your own destiny. Stop buying love and friendship just because you want to fit in while inside you end up being miserable. You need to first love yourself, love the way you were created as you are made in the image of God and nothing said by people shall erase that.

You were not a mistake when God created you. Every body part in you carved by God is a blessing and has a purpose so don’t let the media, celebrities, fame, pressure or anyone define your beauty or who you are. You are unique and beautiful. True beauty lies within and is not determined by the appearance.

The are many handsome and beautiful people yet their hearts are as hard as a stone. The are beautiful women yet their hearts harbour evil and greed. Never let people decide who you can be and cannot be because you are a child of God and he loves you.

Appreciate your uniqueness in spite of everything, disabled or not, rich or not it doesn’t matter. We are all created in the image of the Almighty God who appreciates our uniqueness and loves us as we are. You are Unique. Love yourself.

My mentor and inspiration Mrs Dee once said to me “If you don’t love yourself no one will”
Love yourself because indeed if you don’t no one will do that for you.

BE HAPPY

BE HAPPY

Teboho Masakala

Don’t ever live your life to please others. Please are never satisfied in this world. Some people go to various lengths just to see others happy while they are dying inside and it is not worth it to put other people before yourself or prioritise their happiness before yours.

Happiness starts with you. If you don’t free yourself from whatever controls you no one will so never allow anyone to have control over your life. Some people are dead today  while some are depressed because of trying so much to be what they are not in the name of impressing people.  Some are today living with regrets.

People will never be pleased. Whatever you do you cannot please everyone and even if you do it cannot be on your expense or the expense of your life and happiness. You need to put yourself first and consider your happiness because no one will.

You only have one shot at life and you don’t want to live a life of regrets. Some people try to buy people with their money or whatever material possession they see fit hoping to get the same in return but end up getting disappointed.

No amount of money can give you the kind of happiness you want, it all starts with you. Find whatever makes you happy and stick to it. If its travelling, volunteering or whatever you do that makes you happy stick to it and let it bring you inner peace and inner joy. Joy that cannot be stolen by anyone.

Every time a second ticks on the clock or an hour pass, you are getting older, every second, minutes or hours that pass, you are getting older and time wasted will never be regained.

You don’t want to live a life of regrets because of trying to impress people.

You cannot please everyone all the time, people are unpredictable, only God knows their mind and hearts because he created them and created their every brain cell, as such he knows how they think and how manipulative they can be.

Enjoy your life, be free as a bird don’t allow people to control  your life, don’t allow anyone to belittle you. Have power and control over your life, you hold the key to your happiness. God loves you and created you in his image and he will never leave nor forsake you. Enjoy life and be free.

BE HAPPY

The Love of God

The Love of God

by Teboho Masakala

The Love of God doesn’t judge,, it doesn’t see colour, it doesn’t pretend, it doesn’t undermine, God’s love comforts, it doesn’t change and it compels us to love one another.

1 Peter 4:8, above all love each deeply because love cover over a multitude of sins, the love of God loves us even when we are still in sin, it doesn’t see the sin we are in. Our sins are forgiven because of the love of God, the love of God forgives sins.

So whatever your sin may be that you have done, Jesus has died for you and has erased your sin. Because of his love, God forgave you.
The bible says God is love showing that love is God’s nature and his love comes naturally and is not made or created but it is who God is. The love of God has no end nor beginning. Love is what God, it is his characteristic, his personality.

His love was there in the beginning, it was there in the past and it will be there in future and it is an eternal love that has no end nor beginning. It is an Agape love.

The love of God does not judge: Paul was persecuting the children of God but God still loved, David killed a man and took his wife yet God still loved him. God does not judge according to human standards and is able to forgive even the serial killers of this world and because of his love, he can do the same for you, he is able to use anyone for his glory, his love is not only  limited to the righteous or those that are born again, but it is available even to the sinners, the weak, the judges, the haters and all people.

His love does not see what a person has does, it overcomes negative perception about people. It does not judge like people do but looks at the heart. God is able to use anyone he want, because of his love he is patient and can wait. If he want to use you for his purpose, he will wait for you, clean you and make you new again. His love is an unfailing love.

1 Corinthians  13: 4-5 Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong.

The love of God is very patient with us, God knows our weaknesses, he knows what makes us weak, what makes us angry and what makes us tick. He is able to be patient with us because he created us, his love is a patient love as he created us and knows everything about us. While People will remind you of your past, God’s love doesn’t see your past, it is able to overcome that and led you to your future and success.

1 John 4:19 “We love because he first loved us” because God loved us first we are able to love one another. This shows that the love of God is a contagious love enabling us to love others, we love others because of the love of God.

1 John 3:1  how great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God. Because of the love of God we are able to be called his children, we are children of God because of his love, this shows that the love of God make us his children. We are not children because we are righteous or we live holy, we are his children because of his love.

Just as an earthly father will do anything for his children, God is able to do more for us. A father doesn’t show kindness to his children by the virtue of having fathered them, but because of his love for his children does he provides for them. loves comes from within and is showed through various ways.

God’s love is showed through various ways also. You being alive and able to read this is proof enough that God loves you and made you wake up this morning.

Let God handle it !

Let God handle it !

By Teboho Masakala

Life can be totally unpredictable. The people who we love can be the one who  hurts us the most, but how do you move on when you are hurt by the love you love and have given your heart to?
As hard as it may seem, it is better to be still and let God be in control. You can pass through troubling times as a way of God testing your faith and loyalty to Him. Some situations are just a learning curve preparing you for even bigger challenges.

In order to face a giant, you must be able to have passed a challenge that will prepare you for the giant so that you can be better equipped and ready for the fight. But still, in the midst of all that, you need to be still and let God be in charge.

You need to love and trust God with all your heart as people can disappoint you dearly. The one who we love are the one in better position to disappoint or hurt us because they know all about us. They know our weak and  strong  points. They know what makes us tick and can use that to our advantage, some battles are just not meant for you and you need to let God handle them for you.

You need to let God communicate with you through your pain, tears and misery. Learn to see him in all that you are going through. Yes, through tears, pain and misery you need to see God in all of that and see his mighty love for you. It is important to learn to be calm and let God be in control.

No matter how powerful or clever you may be, you need to let God be God and do what only he as God can do! God is the Creator of life and only he as a Creator knows what’s ahead and can see well into the future what will happen to us. Not only can he see our destiny, but he has already prepared for it and has all weapons ready for the battle ahead, that’s why you need to be still and let God handle your pain.

Some battles are really not meant for us to fight. If we do try, we will fail and our weakness be more exposed but when God is in control, he will hide our weakness and give us an ammunition we never knew we had. So whatever pain you are going through, whether caused by your loved ones or not, learn to let God handle it. Learn to let God fight your battles.
He is a Mighty Warrior, great in battle, Jehova is his name.
